A read of the print editions of Tuesday's Wall St. Journal &amp,  Financial Times, New York Times,  Investor's Business Daily, USA Today, Atlanta Journal and Constituion & Daily Report (Ga. - carries Bloomberg) yielded the following stories about Dow Jones Industrial Average 30 component companies and the Dow with stories about the Dow aggregated first and then items about Dow Jones Industrial Average 30 companies presented alphabetically, followed by a separate table of Dow component's symbol and Monday's stock prices and related data in alphabetical order.

Dow Jones Average: The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed Monday at 12,965.56 down 59.98 or 0.46% from Friday's close of 13,025.58. For the year the Dow is up 6.12%. WSJ pC4 "Stocks see early gains slip away" by Matt Jarzemsky says the Dow reversed early gains of 62 points after the Institute of Supply Mgmt reported purchasing its purchasing managers' index fell more than expected.

NYT pB8 "Manufacturing news sends shares down" by AP says stocks edged lower on Wall St on Mon after a weak mfg report heightened concerns that the fiscal standoff in DC was already hurting the economy.

IBD pB2 "Nasdaq, S&P 500 meet resistance at 50 day line" by Vincent Mao says stocks kicked off Dec with losses after an early rally fizzled Mon as Monday's action was down in lower vol while the current outlook is still a confirmed uptrend.

Monday's MarketWatch 4:26 pm by Wallace Witkowski says U.S. Stocks closed lower Monday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average ending a three-day winning streak, after an unexpected downturn in manufacturing data and continued political haggling over avoiding the fiscal cliff.
