IBD pB2 "Nasdaq stalls, cuts gains despite Fed's easy stance" by Paul Whitfield says stocks reversed off highs Wed even after the Fed said what the bulls wanted to hear.  Wed's action was up in rising vol but stalling on Nasdaq as the current outlook is still a confirmed uptrend.

MarketWatch 7/31/13 Wed. 4:01 pm by Kate Gibson says U.S. stocks on Wednesday finished little changed after the Federal Reserve offered few clues on potential changes to its monetary policy. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA -0.14% fell 21.05 points, or 0.1%, to 15,499.54, after rising as high as 15,634.32, clearing intraday and closing records reached last week. "The S&P 500 continues to knock on the door at 1,700 without much luck. Eventually we think this psychological resistance will be taken out, triggering a small rally to the 1,735 to 1,765 area," wrote Sam Stovall, chief equity strategist at S&P Capital IQ, in emailed commentary. The Nasdaq Composite COMP +0.27% advanced 9.9 points, or 0.3%, to 3,626.37.
