Fin Times p20 "Citigroup leads wa in strong rebound for financial sector" says TRV Travelers' success in keeping a strong balance sheet has helped it protect its market value and find its way on to the Dow. Yesterday that success convinced S&P to raise its outlook on TRV's credit rating, boosting the stock 23.3 % to 46.43. USA Today p5b says stocks rallied Wed, rebounding from the market's biggest drop in a month, after the Fed left short term interest rates unchanged and said the recesion is easing, and analysts boosted their outlook on insurers and also mentioned TRV helped lead insurers higher after its credit outllok was lifted at S&P's.
